79th Anniversary 2023
A small memorial service was held at the Sherman Tank Memorial
on Sunday, April 30, 2023, to pay tribute to those who perished on April 28, 1944.
It was hosted by the Royal Tank Regiment Association, Plymouth Branch, and Bournemouth Branch.
Attendees at the service were serving officers and soldiers from the Royal Tank Regiment; Lt. Col. (Rtd) Richard Taylor;
President of the RTRA, Plymouth Branch, along with members of the RTRA Plymouth Branch and Bournemouth Branch.
Also in attendance were Dean & Sarah Small, as well as local residents from the area.
The 80th Anniversary Memorial Service will be held on April 28, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
at the Sherman Tank Memorial.
