75th Anniversary Arrangements Underway

Planning is underway for the 75th Anniversary Exercise Tiger Memorial Service, which will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2019. The service will begin at 2:30 p.m. at the Sherman Tank Memorial Site in Torcross, at Slapton Sands, England. The Royal Tank Regiment, Plymouth Branch, will be conducting the service. 17 American family members will be present, and tentatively, representatives from the Royal Navy and dignitaries from the American Embassy in London will attend, along with local government officials. Confirmation and more details will be forthcoming over time. All are welcome to attend!
